On my third visit to this coffee shop, the service was so rude, that I will never spend another dollar at this business.
My guess is that there was some kind of large online order being processed in the background, because there was only one other person in the dining area and the man at the register could barely be bothered to greet us.
I recognize, after over twenty years in VERY HIGH VOLUME customer service myself, that everyone is doing their best.
However, the person preparing the coffees could not execute the basic functions of the role, such as announcing the drink being served for pick-up or assisting customers in identifying their drink among the items sitting there to be picked up so that someone else doesn't walk away with your coffee leaving you to ask the barista where it is. So you ask her "Where's my drink?" And she says, "I put it there." And you find it on some other customer's table...like who's responsibility is it to manage the distribution of the drinks? Perhaps announcing it above a whisper would be helpful.
Actually the barista seemed liked she hated being there, hates that job and everyone who showed up to buy coffee is just an inconvenience to her. Cool. I won't be bothering this establishment with my presence again.
Coffee and snacks are really good!
The space is too noisy and the decor is cold.

Literally forgot to make my food. The front staff was busy talking and walked away. Only 3 customers. I'll give a three because it was still good food, but didn't even apologize. More

Kitanda is known as one of very few choices for brazilian food. There were a few items, but all the brazilian choices were quite basic. I was hoping to give my long dormant Portuguese a bit of exercise, but the man at the counter said that no one then present spoke Portuguese. If you are looking for something specific, give them a try, but don't expect a well stocked brazilian market.

In my opinion I t is not acceptable that a coffee shop isn’t offering real mugs (eg porcelain) to their in house customers. The food and beverages were good, so 3 stars.

A warm and welcoming coffee joint with excellent pastries and addictive coffee! I come in regularly for my Americano and hot ham and cheese pastry. I haven't had a chance to try their other coffees but I always order the caramel machiatto for my coworker and she was the one who originally introduced me to this place. More

If you're looking for a great, quiet cafe, Kitanda is the place to go. The atmosphere here was amazing and we were welcomed by warm staff that made our experience delightful. I definitely recommend the Brazilian iced latte and chicken cones, they were to die for, but the ham and cheese and beef pockets were also so delicious.
This cafe is a great way to experience Brazillian snacks at an affordable price and lovely vibe.
Please come check out Kitanda, you won't regret it!

Everything here was amazing, the Chai was strong and delicious, and the kitanda bread was incredible. It's gluten free and there are many options, you can have it alone or as a sandwich that is either sweet or savory. We got a turkey and cheese and it was so good we have to get a few more for the road before leaving

Ordered an acai 'bowl' and kitanda. The acai bowl definitely shouldn't be called a bowl. It's an acai cup to say the least. And I don't think it should be $8 for what you get. Although the flavors are there. The bowl wasn't filling and wasn't a decent size for what you pay for. The kitandas are good, lots of flavor. However, they are so small you can't just order one order. So really you end up paying about $10 for two orders of the kitanda and $8/9 for an acai cup. $20 to leave here still hungry. I'll take my business elsewhere.

Can’t recommend more this place. As a Brazilian living in Washington State, I’ve already been in 5-6 Kitanda stores so far, and I was happy to add this one to my list! Fresh pastries, good selections and tasteful coffee. I recommend the Kitanda Bread Turkey & Cheese and the regular Latte. You won’t regret!

Yummy! This place has really good acai bowls. Really good portions as well. I did the make your own with strawberries, bananas, granola and honey. It was delicious! The honey was really good. Really big portions too. We also ordered iced coffee and it was great. The staff was friendly. Atmosphere was good. We sat outside at one of their picnic tables. Plenty of seating outside and inside. Parking was kind of a pain, but we made it work.

The acai bowls are really good here. I really didn't appreciate the no substitution rule, though. I didn't want mangos, and they forced me to get them on the side just so I could throw them away? That's kind of ridiculous. I love that they have a shop here with Brazilian foods and they make espresso drinks as well. This place has so much potential. It just needs better customer service.

My everyday coffee run place! I love this place. Everything I’ve tried on their menu so far is delicious. The service is excellent and after awhile the people memorized my order 😅 everyone is very kind, and the managers are great to talk with. There’s also a great shop attached for at home foods as well as quick mini mart supplies. When you visit, I highly recommend the Brazilian shake and ziba açaí bowl!

We've been here a few times, but today was the first time we dined in. This is the only place in Beaverton that I know of that has Pão de queijo (Brazilian cheese bread). I've gotten the chicken fajita, spinach, & cheese sandwich every time, which is always a delicious breakfast or snack. As someone who doesn't drink coffee, I tried their iced chai latte today and loved it. There are lots of goods and snacks in the back corner of the shop as well.
The staff is incredibly friendly in this cozy little shop.
If you haven't tried Pão de queijo before, you're not living life to its fullest😋

This is hands down one of the best Açaí bowls I’ve ever had. The açaí base is so good, the fruit is always consistently fresh, and if you get a bowl with peanut butter and the Brazilian nuts…Chef’s kiss.

Love this place! Friendly staff, great coffee, breakfast sandwiches, Kitanda bread balls; regular, bacon, and more. A little grocery area to buy the kitanda mix or packages of pre-made frozen balls to heat in your own oven. So worth it. The kitanda bread is a tapioca mix (gluten-free). The smoothies are really great too. The location is at the Beaverton Round and a 1 minute walk to the food carts. Check it out!
